Super work John. Yep, you are right about the traffic, despite the ring road, the centre seems always busy during the week, so you’ve caught it on a good day.

Lovely pen and wash sketch John, just the right amount of detail, well done.

Beautiful work, John!

Always such a high standard John

Those were the days, Sundays with no traffic. Love it, well done.

Superb work John. Such great detail and wonderful washes of colour!

Lovely use of watercolour John and yes, it does look tranquil

A beautiful painting , I’m familiar with the scene but full of cars as you have said so nice to see a painting of it without them.

I like this a lot John. The clarity and precision of the pen work is to be admired.

Love your quiet atmosphere you worked out so very well.

Another beautifully executed painting John.

Thank you all for those kind comments.

Beautifully observed and drawn John . I really like the way the penmanship is not overpowering the subtle watercolour washes.

Thank you David. Strangely, this is drawn with a black fineliner instead of my usual grey which I normally use to avoid it being too prominent........I must have a very light touch!
