Yellow Pony at the OK Diner

Comments

Yes, yellow is one hell of a colour to get right - but you did, in triumph!

Magnificent.

A tremendous piece of work. It was a great pleasure to watch it's progress on the forum.

Goodness me, a stunner in realism

Just great Anthony, super job, I've been following on the forum.

Thanks so much all :)

Absolutely brilliant and beautifully done, it’s been great watching it develop on the forum . The light glow from the dinner is superb and the reflections on the car are amazing. It’s just simply stunning great painting Anth .

Super work, Anthony.

Like many others, I have been following this on the forum. The yellow may have tested your patience but those nearside reflections have really nailed it. They stand out = outstanding.

Thanks again Paul, Jenny, Tony!

You could not have done this any better. It is superb!

Exceptional. Not just the car but also the way you have represented the diner at night. Absolutely inspirational.

What can I say? This is fantastic!

Thanks so much once again!

There's one piece only within my whole artwork, where subject is the car ;) Guess what, I did pay with it to the car mechanic for fixing my car ;) It was made by pyrography technique with some addition of the paint. Actually I think I've forgotten to add this piece to my gallery... Anyway, it's not I don't like cars, but I'm more leaning towards wildlife and portraits, so it keeps me away from *motor machines ;) Sorry for this long writing, but I felt it's crucial to let you know, of how I'm impressed with your talent and skills to paint such realistic cars! Colours, shapes, reflections ... It is very realistic, and it's so beautiful!

20x16”, oils on canvas board. This one’s tested my patience a few times, mainly because of the physical qualities of the base yellow that I used. Got there in the end though!
