This is really lovely Anni. Are you familiar with the work of Angie Lewin? She is a printmaker based in Norfolk and her designs are very much in this style. She is a favourite of mine.

Hi Ruth, Happy New Year! Thank you for your comment. This may look simple but it took a fair amount of time and planning.I drew over 40 shapes on paper and positioned them onto the canvas. I painted the back ground first then added the colour. How is your art going? Hi Christine Happy New Year to you too. No I don't know Angie Lewin but will look her up on the Net in a minute. Acrylic on canvas (Large) Inspiration for this came from flowers.leaves/fruit/seedheads from the garden. I wanted to simply forms and let shape and colour draw the eye. It is going into a local restaurant, a lovely old building with heaps of wall space. ~ Anni www.annimorris.com
