Thank you Nora and Jeanette. This is how I imagine Frida's spirit to be now. Young, carefree...with no pain (emotional or physical) flying high over the land of Mexico she loved so much. She'd be surrounded by her animals too. I was a little sad to sell this painting, but it sold to a lovely lady who lived locally and has a Mexican food exporting business. I knew it had a good home. Hi Phil, Glad you like it. I am amazed by her strength (Frida), I don't know how many operations she had and the level of pain she endured through her lifetime...it still didn't stop her creating...even from her bed. I like to think that she is now totally free from that pain with all the freedom of a bird. ~ Anni :)
