This was painted on black paper which in fact was quite hard especially as I used coloured pencils which didn’t really stand out but experimented with some graphite and black pastel to emphasise the Raven a bit more. Also used some very faint pastel on the background, just a little bit. I did get the effect in the end though… I wanted to portray the atmosphere of the wet day… was pleased with it in the end…
