This is a painting of a family member and his co-driver, whilst driving very quickly, on a Rally Stage in Ireland. The car in question is a Subaru WRC. I enjoy drawing and painting cars and motorbikes and feel that this painting captures the moment when the car momentarily leaves the road and the co-driver is looking down towards her notes on the road ahead: or perhaps she is just "keeping her head down".... The painging was illustrated in acrylic on 300gsm paper.
