Tranquil water

Idyllic scene done wonderfully. Take me there.

As loose as you can get, but you still manage to paint a 5-strand barbed wire fence in meticulous detail.... difficult to just let go and lay detail to one side, isn't it? But if you don't really get on with loose, that's absolutely no crime; paint how you want to paint, not how others would tell you you should. I tell you this because someone told me the same, and they were right! I enjoy all of your paintings, loose or more detailed.

Such a lovely scene I wish I could be transported there right now. Lovely greens (!) again and really good depiction of a calm pool of water. I like the fence - it is that bit of sharpness in the looseness of the rest of the painting.
