I like your portfolio very much, but this image stopped me in my tracks. I own an old print by a fellow called A.Watson Turnbull. I believe he was a royal academician. My mother bought it from the artist while she was a student at Marischal College in Aberdeen. It has exactly the same title, a very similar scene, though with no buildings. Was that the inspiration for your excellent watercolour?

Hi Harry. I believe the ORIGINAL of this titled painting was done by Benjamin Williams Leader - that and a tapestry I later did based on the painting were my inspiration.
