this is a beautiful watercolour, its ages since i did one this has inspired me.

Very pretty painting with a gentle pastoral feel to it. Still doing those brilliant greens I see!

Thanks again Thea! I think your whole gallery is superb - AND - you can obviously draw and convey what you see! - which is more than I can accomplish, except on a rare occasion.

very pretty piece..

Give yourself time, is my advice with painter's block: don't try to force things, just doodle gently away, take a few photographs without getting overly steamed up over whether they'll make paintings or not: take the pressure off yourself, play some music - it comes back in the end, but you don't have to worry about it. Tranquil painting here, by the way - maybe try it in another medium? Eg, oil, acrylic, gouache, pastel? Sometimes helps to release the logjam.

Thanks Robert for your advice! I think I will stick with watercolour (I've tried everything else and am happiest with watercolour). I'm hoping that an improvement in the weather - which has been pretty grey and uninspiring for weeks now - will help my muse?!

As I seem to have "painters' block" at the moment, I am looking back at earlier efforts - hence this one
