A very interesting painting, Angela. Is it watercolour again or did you drop in some acrylic inks? Love the vibrant colours.

Lovely Angela

Beautiful effect Angela and lovely palette.

If you've done this, as I suspect, with watercolour and salt, you've judged it brilliantly well. And if you've done it with another method - you've still done brilliantly well.

It is just watercolour, the effects created using salt - different sized crystals. I have also experimented with the same effect, but putting one layer over another when the first is dry. It can be a great way of rescuing something that you don't feel has worked well first time - if you are lucky!!!

Thanks for the comments - there are some watercolour tips on my facebook page if anyone is interested - and one or two extra images on Pinterest which come from my photography background

This is the first time I have really seen this salt effect at full advantage. I want to try it out with the crystal paints when I get a chance.

I've never tried crystal paints - will be interested to see how they work with salt, and maybe with the techniques I have found in using resists - there's always something new to be trying!
