I can see why this has been so well liked Angela. There's a lightness and freshness about it which are quite charming.

Jane and Ann, Thank you for your comments - this particular village is a popular tourist spot, and has hosted many 'Painters in the Street' competitions - I did a quick pencil sketch the first time I saw the view, but it was about three years later that I turned it into a finished watercolour.
