Painted a camel at nightfall. Painted using gouache. This medium seems to be resonating with these images for illustrating a Lunar Eclipse. I find gouache quite different from watercolour as it seems to give a bolder and smooth effect, whereas the watercolour absorbs and leaves a more 'spread out effect' I do prefer Watercolour though as it mixes well and there seems to be more versatile blends in creating colours particularly hues...
