'Monoprint Black Swan' by Angela Harrison
Painted in guaoche and underneath a pane of glass placed the watercolour image. I quickly painted the background and around the swan frontal view point. then added crimson for his beak.Rolled a cardboard cylinder over a piece of drawing paper I placed on top of the water colour paper. Carefully rolled out any creases and peeled it back. This is the dried out Black Swan. First time I have tried gouache for monoprinting ,, one needs to be quick as it dries out quickly!
