Why thank you Heather, Stephen, Anne and Julie. Been revisiting some places from my youth as am writing Memoirs and found this drawing I did a while ago to illustrate for the book. There is a story about some Swallows that foretell stories based on historical fact ....then I wrote about childhood days before we fled the nest to live abroad in Africa and now Australia. A friend nudged me and encouraged to write about our adventures in Southern Africa where the Swallows migrated ,, but something strange and mysterious happened when we crossed the Equator ..think King Neptune took us further across along to follow the Southern Cross our destination Australia .....these Swallows did fly south but might return one day ......who knows when?
