This pastel image is slightly lighter in tone as I had started the tips of the feathers applying black pastel,, As the Eagle is descending to the mountain peak its wings remained motionless and open wide, although I wanted to portray a slow descent,, added some white pastel inbetween the black tips but unsure whether this lighter palette is better or the first one I posted where I had added burnt umber and hints of black?
