Why thankyou Heather, Da if, Martin, Stephen, Denise, and Jim for your kind remarks on this Emu Dragon! I played Peter, Paul, And Mary's song Puff the Magic Dragon to feel the rhythm of these inate creatures and then suddenly a flash of inspiration took me into Emus realm so gave me a clue on drawing a Dragon feature! When it came to adding wings I kind of imagined an extended rib-cage with zigzags! Anyway it was fun to sketch and from a Dinasaur bird like Emu mind of made me think of those ancient Dinasaur birds!

I sketched this Dragon for the February Forum activity today. As I have been drawing Comic sketches for a pictorial book about Emus I decided to create an Emu Dragon. The earth appears pink in some areas in Northern Territory so this Dragon puffs out pink dust and so his mission is to replenish the Coral Reef and scatter pink dust over the sea that hopefully will act as a haze and protect the Coral.
