Thank you Carole, I am starting some portrait sketches of Evie this week. She has the most attractive eyes, deep blue and long lashes too! It's a start in portraits for the New Year!

Why thank you David, I couldn't resist drawing this portrait of Evie today. She visited too today and wanted to take it home, shall need to tweak a bit further and post it to her as we stay about an hour away! This grandaughter is soooo cute and mimics too, always makes us laugh! These children pose well too, and she painted me a frog today too! Need to take a photograph of her Art work as she is so enthusiastic and paints freely blending colours too.We just stand back and watch as it's incredible to see her images pop out on paper!

Thank you Spencer, Yes, she is a thinker this grandaughter and has really expressive eyes, dark blue and long lashes too!

Thank you Stephen, It's the first portrait drawings this year so am practicing eyes and expressions too! This child poses so well and demonstrates bold line in her drawings too! Children express their emotions so freely and so want to capture some of their expressions! While it's quiet shall draw a few more line drawings this week.

Why thank you Coral, and Marjorie for your lovely comments. Evie is three years old and so cute, she was born when Covid restrictions were enforced and has been a little gem! She is our youngest granddaughter and so full of vitality , we adore her bright and happy nature so want to draw portraits this year!
