Thank you all for the kind comments about my sketch. For the record I’ve just started using a Moleskine watercolour sketchbook and I’m more than happy with the quality of the paper for these quick(ish) sketches. With respect to the foliage I followed a tip from Anthony Neild in LP to make each tree’s foliage distinct depending on the species.
