There’s definitely a Van Gough feel to this Andrew. Your perspective is very good, I like all the detail and cross hatching in the sky

Great to get so much positive feedback on the drawing and kind words on the cold. Thank you all. Regarding the drawing, one of the best books I ever bought was called “Van Gogh The Master Draughtsman” and concentrated on his drawings instead of his paintings. I recommend it if you can find it in a library.

Superb drawing Andrew! I especially like the tree and is so like the style of Vincent’s…..the way he describes the shapes, lumps and bumps on the trunk and branches.

As I'm currently 'celebrating' my first cold since January 2020, not feeling very creative, so here's a golden oldie for my archive. A view inspired by Van Gogh's Garden in Winter - includes Stowe's Gothic Temple - done in 2012. A4 ink on paper.
