Very well drawn Andrew.

A striking image. It looks like modern sculpture in some ways. Fine work.

Really good drawing and I like the background too

That is a remarkable looking tree and you have captured the details so well!

Wonderful. I often see trees like this. Well captured 👌

I can see what attracted you. Love the mark making

Great picture Andrew.

Super painting Andrew.

What a beautiful old tree. Glad you caught the image before its demise.

Love all the curves and stories of its gnarls and aged beauty Andrew. So sad it has come to the end of its life but it has succumbed with a tremendous grace you have portrayed.

Some old trees look so good , this is excellent and beautifully done .

Many thanks everyone, your feedback is gratefully received!

What a shame you’ve lost this marvellous, natural sculpture Andrew. You have embodied it’s character and beauty in your marks and brushstrokes.

Thanks Fiona.

Painting of an amazingly gnarled and twisted tree - a weeping ash which is sadly no more. Having succumbed to the ravages of time, it was felled on safety grounds. Based on photographs I took before it was lost . Acrylic on canvas - 50cm x 40cm.
