Ingleborough is the second highest peak in the Yorkshire Dales. A painting trip to the Lake District was aborted amidst torrential rain, but a coffee stop on the way home at the foot of Ingleborough gave some hope. This was painted on site over an hour before the heavens opened again and was completed in the studio.
