I agree, beautiful paintings

Gorgeous portrait but it brought a tear to me eye. A lady I know has just lost her retriever and her dog looked so much like Bobby with that wonderful trusting and loving expression.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments. Thea, that's sad about your friends retriever, they are like family members arn't they, it must be a terrible loss.

She was 14 1/2 so that's a pretty good innings for a retriever, but even although she had a long and happy life, it feels very empty when they are gone.

Such a beautiful dog and such a beautiful painting. Your handling of pastel is superb - the dog looks so real I feel I could reach out and stroke him. Well done Andrea.
