She's gorgeous, Andrea! Beautifully painted, you've captured the very essence of the whippet - the combination of elegance and power, the gentleness, the intelligent eyes. And most of all, the love of soft, plump cushions and the prime spot on the sofa! (I have three, so I know!)

I know Nina, but I worked from a photograph for the picture, and I did wonder if I had managed to capture her personality - not to mention her likeness! It was good to find that her owners were very happy with the result. You are right, she is gentle - that is just the right word. She comes to the door and just looks at you with her huge eyes and waits for you to melt! Wow three whippets!! Hope you have three sofas!
