An unusual view point really well depicted. Excuse me the old git but where is this please?

Wonderfully atmospheric, Andrea. An excellent piece!

Hi Derek, to answer your question, this is Poole Quay in Dorset. The blue grey sculpture and combined viewing platform at the end of the road here is by Sir Anthony Caro and is called 'Sea Music'. Across the water is the working part of the quay and the site of the car ferry to France etc. The museum in the title is an old former warehouse conversion and has four floors - this is the view from the cafe on the third floor which has an external glass walled area with views out to the quayside and up the old high street - really handy for me as I didn't need to lean out of a window at an alarming angle to get this shot! Thank you for your compliment Derek :)

Hi Seok, lovely to hear from you! Thank you for your comment, it&#39;s a lovely but busy part of town - glad that you think I have caught some of the atmosphere! :) :) <br />

A Pastel sketch 'View from the Museum'. With very fond memories of the corner Wine Bar, which provided me with a much needed holiday job when I was a student...I can still hear the former owner's favourite Louis Armstrong music as I write!
