I have just looked through your gallery and I do like your work Andrea - I think this is probably my favourite - lovely subdued palette and great simplification.

Going by your description there is no field in front of the castle. Omitting the town was a good choice. It leads us to admire the castle at leisure.

I like your gallery very much - particularly this picture. You've represented the stonework very well and used shadows to good effect. Very good sky and subdued background. Well done!
