Windmill exercise

Those sails can't have been easy, so it's a good piece of drawing and observation. Were they moving too?

No Derek, it's taken from a picture, just having a go with a different medium, not a medium I particularly like, don't feel that I can slap it on. Better for these small exercise though. Thanks for the comment though Derek.

Nice line and wash Andre, nice bright colours

I've had a go at a couple of windmills and the sails are really difficult to get right....you have, I failed. This is a great little pen & wash Andre, one of my favourite mediums.

The windmill is captured really well by the dark coloured sky behind, nice painting!

A wonderful little work. Windmill are so difficult to paint. You have done wonder considering it was an exercise!
