Very Vincent Linda. Lovely.

Lovely and bright and beautiful 👍🏻

Love the 3D effect. They are larger than life Linda. Great work.

Big beautiful smiles Linda.....by the result of this you don’t need much practice.

A fantastic painting, Linda. Great technique.

Nowt wrong with water based oils, as this vibrant painting shows, Linda.

Many thanks Jim, Rachel, Carole, Fiona, Mia and Marjorie for your comments, I do like working with these oils, I have used these in the past and have always been pleased with them, X

Splendid work, Linda. Looks like you've stepped straight back into the skillful use of oils. Always pleased when new materials are mentioned...water soluble AND a fast drying medium! I gave up on oils because they took so long to dry.

Lovely light onthe petals, I like it Linda.

Many thanks Sheelagh, Lewis and Carole for such positive comments. Lewis I worked with these Windsor and Newton Artisan oils years ago and I think they have greatly improved. I found that mixing with the appropriate mediums works a treat, they are touch try in a couple of days, also it leaves a lovely sheen on your painting.

This is my second sunflower painting. Practicing with my oils which I am loving again after years of not using them. Painted on a box canvas size 8 x 8 with Windsor and Newton water soluble oil and using Windsor and Newton fast dry liquid.
