Dried Flowers in an Old Pot

Like this Ana - if I may so, I think it could benefit from sitting in the canvas more i.e. with a drop shadow of some kind?

Fabulous painting ANA, love the colours I do agree with Heather.

Thank you all for your kind words! You may Heather, and I thank you for it! This is possibly the only watercolour I made with a practical and immediate purpose: to be hanged on the wall just behind the real pot with the real dried flowers, so I thought it would be better to let it “floating up the wall” as the real pot was well anchored on a table surface! I painted it and made it framed right away as the empty space behind the pot was, in my view, a bit annoying in a living room where all the walls were filled up with paintings…! Now, the pot and its dried flowers are gone and I moved the painting to another wall, and I agree it’s kind of weird the floating pot! But I love it anyway, it remembers me the exquisite enamelled terracotta pot made by inspired Portuguese artificers and the nice ladies who owned the lovely shop where I bought it and many other unique objects or where I used to go just to talk as the shop had the appropriate name of “A Gralha” that is “The Jackdaw”.
