Les Deux Magots
Here is another one from a series of famous Parisian cafes. Les Deux Magots - a cafe located on the Paris Saint-Germain boulevard, famous for its popularity among the literary and intellectual elite of Paris. The cafe hosted intellectuals and artists, incl. Sartre, de Beauvoir, Hemingway, Camus, Picasso. Les Deux Magots awards the Prix des Deux Magots literary award, which dates back to 1933. The name of the cafe comes from two wooden statuettes representing Chinese salesmen (Fr. Magots).
