Thank you, everybody. I even managed to fool myself - went to put the brush away, only to realise it was the painting! (The day was getting on a bit by then and the light was dimming.) That brush has become a brush with character. I'm thinking of using the painting on a certificate for the children who have helped.

Made a BIG start on the four smaller exterior panels of the mural today, but forgot my camera. Here's a quick painting of my favourite mural brush, painted with a biggish, flat, artists brush (~1") on a bit of scruffy cardboard.
