Very rugged quality in this little painting, works well.

Thank you, Stephen, it does. I'm always a bit surprised when that happens :-)

I love your impasto style and the vibrant colours you use - so vibrant ans fresh. You seem to be able to capture the essence of a scene wonderfully with a great economy of brush strokes. Your pictures remind me of an artist called Zak Barnes who has some pictures in the RiceGallery.com.

A joyful painting Amanda.

Yep! Colours, textures; vibrant and full of movement. Made to view from a distance to get the full effect. Lovely.

This is incredible. I love the textures. It's full of life and energy.

Many thanks, Dawn.

Painted using the leftovers from Micheldever Woods. Very loosely based on a series of photographs of Portreath, Cornwall. 5 x 7" canvas.
