Excellent, the Bark is beautifully done, the two colors on either side really set it off, and provide an added dimension to the painting.

I think there will be more. Silver birch are like that. A hybrid drawing/painting on a birch-faced plywood panel, 30x30cm, mixed media. More specifically: acrylic gesso (black), various traditional (mainly Indian) and acrylic/acrylate (mainly white) inks - with a dip pen, and acrylic paint. The dip pen is the reason it's on wood not canvas.
