This looks great; fresh and immediate as you would expect from en plein air! Speaking of transporting wet oils, any tips? I do note you mention damage, which is a shame.

Gudrun, re. carrying wet oils, here's a post I made earlier: http://amanda-bates-artist.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/how-to-make-wet-painting-carrier-from.html ~~ The theory is sound, but the practice was poor in this case. I made my 14 x 18 inch box a year or two ago (I think it was an early one), and the strips at the edges are too wide and too high. On balance, I would mostly dispense with strips - maybe one for strength - and keep to triangles in the corners.

The damage - which was minor, and readily fixed by pushing the wet paint around - can be seen in the 2nd photo in this Flickr set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zalamanda/sets/72157633478628306/

Painted en plein air this morning. Oil on canvas, 14 x 18" ~~ My blog post has a slightly modified version (mostly fixing the damage done to the edges by my poorly made box!) - photograph taken after I got home: http://amanda-bates-artist.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/clinker-copse-bluebells-on-sunday.html
