You are clever Amanda, the teapot is brilliant and your digital dormouse so cute!

Just love this Amanda, makes me smile everytime I pass it by on the gallery. I'm a novice as far as digital art goes : interested to know how it works. When you combine the two media in one painting, do you just have a print/photograph of the combination ?

Thank you, Carole and Sharon. In terms of bits of paper, there is - in this case - my original watercolour teapot, unchanged. As soon as I photographed it and started adding to it, the teapot painting became part of a digital artwork. Digital art exists primarily on a computer. There is no original; the file can be copied and it can be printed many (or no) times. So, yes, Sharon, if you want a "hard copy" of the combination, it can only ever be a print. Prints vary a lot in quality and in longevity.

Watercolour, acrylic (white, highights), pen... and that's just the teapot! The dormouse is entirely digital, and a bit of adjustment was required inn the relative colours, too.
