And the sky / Was a hazy shade of winter... ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cornwall is beautiful all year round. The sea was surprisingly rough in Mount's Bay, but the weather was surprisingy mild (if misty). The children paddled in wetsuits under the eagle eyes of their grandparents and father (all of whom can move faster than me) while I made a couple of Derwent Drawing sketches in my A5 sketchbook. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I added a graphite outline (using a nondescript propelling pencil) later; it seems to emphasise the haziness.
