My first stab at using the rather lovely Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle pencils acquired as a competition pack. There are 6 pencils - two lots of primaries - which I thought would be similar enough to my oils palette that it'd be easy to get the desired shade. Foolish me! In the end, I went with the hypereal colours I had and added a few bits of white acrylic ink where I shoud have left the paper untainted. ~~~ I will try again.
