I like your drawings and good on you for having the drive and discipline to get in a sketch while working. I particularly like the one with the cows. That one really has a great atmosphere.

Thank you, Gudrun. The lunchtime sketches are very much dependent on the weather, and pressures of work - it's always good to get out of the office though, and I intend to carry on as much as possible, even when it gets cold. I like the cows one, too.

Don't know where I was when you posted this one Amanda but I just love it, great little oil pastel sketch

Thank you Ros. I must get back out there...

Another lunch time sketch. I found this remarkably rustic church by accident while driving, and - realising that it was within cycling distance of work, decided to return on a bicycle. The second time I rode there, I had sketching materials - my newly purchased "Nature" set of Sennelier oil pastels. The quality of these drawing sticks was a revelation; I'd only used inferior oil pastels before. The "Nature" set includes all-natural colours, and so provides a somewhat limited palette. Challenging - and quite suited to the subject. Oil pastel on oil pastel paper (A4)
