Iconic figure - I have dozens upstairs in the grandchildren's play box. A nice subject - simple but one that everyone will recognise.

I have painted a fair few in this series, it has to be said. They're quite popular. The folks at LEGO HQ have seen a few, and told me that they liked them. ~~ I took a slightly different approach to this fellow; I started with a yellow canvas (painted with an excess on a previous occasion), and tried to leave as much of the yellow alone as possible. Short of posterising, it was nigh on impossible, what with all the highlights and shade.
