It is so useful to have a bit of scrubby pencil and a piece of paper , Just to scribble a shape, a shadow or the way the light falls.

Blunt or not you still did really well with the drawing and a good depiction of the vandalism or maybe it's a riding course, which would make sense.

And *this* is my favourite sketch from the day before, also from a short walk. In fact, I was at the foot of the first hill from the left in the sketch from yesterday... Drawn with a B pencil, the only tool I had with me that day. It was blunt when I got home :-)
