Easter hols, kids about I guess, mobile any longer - why? This is coming along really well as a historical scene. What size is it Amanda?

That's right, Derek - the children are off school (both are still primary age). As to the mobility, I was referring to the paint. Thickly applied oils can be moved around on the canvas for several days, but the paint will be too dry in a fortnight.

It's 22 x 18 inches. Not actually historical per se - it's based on last spring's photographs...

I'm not sure precisely how much more I want to do on this, but I do know that I'm not getting a chance for a fortnight, what with it being the Easter holidays and all... By the time I get back to this, it won't be mobile any more, and the textured surface will limit what I can do.
