Thank you, Christine and Thea. Was thinking it might be too busy, too bright... The circles came from the shape of the open Russian Dolls, and, when I killed two tubes of paint (ran out of Azo Yellow and split Deep Violet), I used their caps to emphasise the shape.

A bit of an experiment - trying not to follow the subject too closely. Trying out a cheap Chinese set of 5 knives that my husband acquired via eBay...
