Hound Tor under the stars

That's super, love the blue monotone.

A lot of work in this Alicia. The figures give an idea of the scale of the place, your sky is particularly good.

You showed us an early stage of this on the forum - I noticed then that you had got a face in your rock-stack on the left of the picture: wondered if you'd spot it yourself, and of course, you did. So easy to do this - I have, and didn't notice I had until after I'd finished it. When I cursed..... I like your painting, moody and magnificent - expecting the Hound of the Baskervilles to come bounding into the picture.

Thank you for your comments. Robert - I hadn't noticed a face, I'm trying not to look because then that's all I'll see. No doubt it will catch me soon :)

Great work Alicia - love the monotone.

Wow, Alicia, the sky is incredible. Love the Milky Way and stars. This is a painting one can gaze upon for ages as it draws out your imagination but pulls you into your own narrative simultaneously. Super work.

Like the contrast and the monotone. Really stands out.

You have some lovely light catching the rocks on the right hand side, and I like the way you have done the stars, very nice work.
