On a recent trip to Morocco I was drawn to the famous tannery that remains almost unchanged since the Middle Ages. Despite the awful aroma I was mezmerised by the intense colour and incredible forms of the pits as well as the beautiful figure studies all around. This is one of three large works I completed of the Tannery.
