Acrylic on board. This is a view of Penrose, Cornwall, on a late spring day as the sun was about to set. The evening light was beautiful, creating a hazy, soft, rolling landscape in the background whilst highlighting the vibrant green reeds in the foreground which caught the gentle breeze. The panoramic view left me with a sense of calm and tranquil beauty which I tried to capture in this painting...
