Great sense of scale and distance.

Love this Alice, it has a beautiful light and what vibrant colours.

Great perspective - particularly like those mossy/lichen roofs

Love the movement in the sea, and all the detail of this well executed acrylic.

Acrylic on Paper, 20x20cm. The light in Porthleven is very special and in the summertime, the sea has a jewel-like quality with the most vibrant shimmering turquoise shades. This view is from the bench at the top of the hill looking back towards the Bickford Smith Institute, the pier and to the sea beyond. Porthleven faces the Atlantic which means it gets the brunt of the storms in the autumn and winter but is dazzling on a beautiful, calm and sunny day.
