This acrylic painting on paper (70 x 35cm) of a view of Falmouth at low tide. I really loved the light in this scene and the way it was glinting on the ropes. I enjoyed painting all the different textures, from the sea-worn stone harbour wall to the seaweed starting to dry out in the sun. As I stood looking at this view, it made me think how there have little fishing boats moored here for hundreds of years and so the title became 'Beyond the Lines of Time'
