Pitlochry is a beautiful corner of Scotland and amongst other attractions has stunning forest walks. It was on one of these walks that I was taken in by the way the light fell on the strong silent trees and that was the inspiration for this painting. 30x30cm oil on linen box canvas, ready to hang or frame as preferred
