Good technique here and good observation of a sparrow, but knowing sparrows it won't stay there long! And... that stone wall (dyke in the south-west?) is good enough to touch.

This is a super painting Alexandra, I particularly love the way you have painted the stone. A perfect hiding place for the sparrow to check out his surroundings.
