My first festive themed painting, my wife has been asking me for several years to do festive pictures so i've started. I'm hoping to complete a set of six before december, so i've set myself a target of doing each painting in one sitting, just to make it more interesting, so prepaeration is important.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
