This is a double portrait of my partners parents. Her mother recently passed away and I thought it would be nice for her to have a lasting portrait done in oil paint. It is on a stretched canvas and measures 20 by 16 inches.

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
